What services does palliative home care provide?

The services include:

• Assessing the person's care needs
• Planning how to look after pain and other symptoms
• Emotional support
• Other services such as:
         • Looking after the home
         • Having someone come in to the home so the person giving care can have a break
         • Washing, bathing
         • Equipment/supplies
         • Volunteers
• Seeing that all parts of the care work together for the person
